Anyone have/had/experienced the Oculus Quest 2 headset? Any opinions? Reviews seem good overall. Been thinking the tech has moved on nicely in the last 18months and the £300 price point is not bad

Had VR before (ps4) and enjoy the experience, plus theres a half decent library on steam currently.

Any thoughts?

We have an Oculus Quest 2.  It’s pretty great for the games on it, Beat Saber in particular is very good fun as a party game.

I think the technology is still growing for sure, lots of people are beginning to use these headsets in games like DCS etc, though it seems that the display quality is lower than that of a traditional screen.

Worth it for me, there are another few quite good games as you said and the library is only going to grow.

I think the Quest 2 is a fantastic VR experience. I don’t own one myself but my housemate does and its always good fun to use – especially as they got rid of the foam band around it and changed it to silicon (just a bit more hygienic and far less sweaty). If VR is your thing I would say the Quest 2 is your best option bang for buck 🙂

I don’t personally own one, I have the Valve Index but I’ve used my friends oculus quest 2 its an amazing experience plus there is a lot of content to play through, I was impressed by how much fun it actually was compared to my valve index.

I’ve got the Oculus Rift s2.

However, my mate has the Oculus Quest 2 and swears by it.
