      Hi everyone,

      My name is Leigh AKA ProtoBedlam in-game. I’m from Buckinghamshire in the UK. I’m 34 and turning 35 this weekend, but I try not to think about it.

      So, I’m here because for a few months now, on my regular gaming nights, a few of us have been playing HLL, and almost exclusively on the PBS servers and very much enjoyed our time waging war. I really enjoy organised, coordinated play and I feel I will maximise the potential of that within the clan structure and be able to promote it across the servers when I’m able to play. The game is at its best when there is good communication and coordination, I think.

      I will add, I am a friend of one of your recent new members – CompleteNutta. So, I echo many of the same sentiments from his joining message.

      Similarly, I’m able to dedicated only one or two evenings a week to gaming in general and HLL due to juggling my commitments with having two young children and a bucket load of DIY on the go most of the time.

      My experience of clan play goes back to the Day of Defeat mod for Half-Life 1, where I played in clan leagues in a clan called [wsat] We Stand Alone Together. Those times remain some of my more memorable and enjoyable times welding the mouse and keyboard.

      I also continue to attend LANs when I can and I do play a varied number of games, as I harbour quite a passion for strategy games.

Seeing as we have for our sins been friends for a very long time, even having been best men at each other’s weddings, I don’t have much choice but to wholeheartedly support this application.
