  On first impressions its a great game with lots of fast paced and intense battles. A very promising start indeed and I hope that it continues to get the development it needs. Really excited that PBS will be involved and hopefully will attract and create a strong community around this game!!

  I played for 90 min orso yesterday,first had some problems with grafical settings and mouse function,RTX 2060/Razer Lancehead,now I play on 1440p/high/epic settings@45-55 FPS.
  
  At the moment I am confused with the game……..!-))

  Morning all,
  
  Haven’t spend that much time yet (about 40 minutes) in game yesterday, so haven’t had time to experience all roles / all factions / all maps. But I can say it tastes like more!!
  
  Sure, you need a full server (which we achieved quite fast) to have a good experience, but just getting a feel for the game a few minutes will do and I can only recommend everyone tries at least a few moment in game. For me it felt like a HLL WWI version, wait…. it is a WWI version….. getting used to the different controls might feel a bit akward at times but with some more game time that will be resolved pretty quick.
  
  What I most liked (yes, I know, just 40 minutes of game play of which mostly just running around like a noob) was the feeling of utter desolation (which would be how men felt during WWI in the trenches). Not know which way to go, disorientated, having that eerie feeling “lights out” any minute….. I did not encounter any bugs, which are proned to be there. First impression: I like! Hope to get some more time in game today.
  
  I am not that good in writing reviews and perhaps I am easily satisfied, but boy this does taste like something awesome. Hope you all will join in some action soon!

  I played a match or 2 yesterday after the HLL training and i must say i like the atmosphere of the game, although a bit hectic maybe, but thats maybe due to the style of the game in comparison with HLL. I thought that the map was not very clear . Al those squares bunched together.
  
  and can only the squadlead point out enemyâ€™s? No spotting ability for the squadmembers?
  
  But i have zero experience in games like squad, and i did not play very long till now but my first impressions where positive,Â overall a fun game.

  As for the game: its somewhere between Post Scriptum and Squad, which is neither bad nor good, in my opinion. Its fun to run around in some maps (where is no vegetation) and not so fun when you cannot see anything on the map because of bushes.
  
  Roles: diversity is nice, there are roles to chose from and most of them have more then 1 weapon
  
  Gameplay: Enjoyable, plenty of optimization in the future, rag-dolls are nice, gore is fun, weapons wields like something of ww1.
  
  Maps: The good, the bad, the ugly.

  If you ever played Squad you will be a bit familiar to some of the games mechanics but where Squad can be a bit of a walking simulator and a bit slow some times, the trenches in BTW make the action into a fast paced FPS.
  
  I really liked the fact that it’s difficult to aim properly in this game and the bolt action rifles make it hard to rely on it all the time and that enforces you to use melee weapons. At the moment people are probably going to play this game primarily in trenches, if possible, exactly because of the focus on close combat.
  I personally had some random issues with the textures where they wouldn’t load properly and it would fix itself from time but it was day one so a patch might be coming soon.

  Played for around an hour, unfortunately on low numbers so I haven’t experienced the full fast paced game yet. However, first impressions are very good. I had some issues with the game not starting and crashing before loading but after a couple restarts the game works perfectly. Fully recommend and I love the melee.

  This isÂ another Early Access ive played and the first (just got itÂ im quite ..noobish) since I backed Hell Let Loose (kickstarter wise) that I really feel happy with the potential it has and the team behind it.
