      Dear PBS friends,

I wish you all a greath health and a good mindset in these corona days. Not just from the virus, but from panic.

Most of you are in lockdown or lockdown lite and have to stay home , so its a great time to release some stress/panic and game in our gaming realm!

We are all friends, so if we can help, if you need a talk or whatever.. use our discord/website to discuss..

Stay safe my friends and see you on the battlefield! 😉

Thank you and you too. Good words from you!!

Me in Holland, my wife in Russia… divided by closed borders. My wife will be delivering our twins soon (this week the doctor said). I am stressed because I have no idea when I can see my newborn children or my wife again. And didn’t even choose a military or seamen’s career 🙁 I know I struggle so I can only imagine how others are struggling in their sickness or worse or being family off. I wish all of you the very best of the best, good health and God’s blessings… May we soon have this behind us and return to a somewhat normal life again. May the scars on our soul because of all this heal quickly!

All safe here in Belgium. Nice from you to start this topic. Nevertheless for my children and partners it are uncertainty times ahead. My sun and his gf left 7 month ago for volunteering in Port Elisabeth, she as a part of school and my son went along with her to to about the same. The return was planned on 2nd of April. Departing in Port Elisabeth with South African Airways on a domestic flight to Johannesburg, there taking a flight with Turkish Airlines to Istanbul and from there to Brussels. I know…they could choose a better flight/company, i suggested that many times what if…and just in case..;but young guys and money… So they booked this flight via Mytrip.com(horsesh….t company)

My daughter went after her brother for holidays and for 3.5 weeks stay with returning 24th of march and booked directly with British Airways(so far no cancellations) but not perfect because transfer from London to Brussels isn’t certain either but less far the get them back.

Past month the news…South African Airways about to be bankrupted so domestic flight canceled…due to they booked via mytrip, it is the responsibility of mytrip to rebook or change booking to other date(s) but ZERO communications

Along came Covid19…Turkish Airlines stopped flying Brussels…but yet again..it’s mytrip.com’s  job to arrange all!!! Again ZERO communications. With this outbreak SA people are getting a bit racist towards them, when they say they where volunteering 7 months they serve them in the restaurants and etc  but, always asking where are you from..Belgium…e few steps backing off…. creepy for young guys and girls. Calling them the ones who bring the virus in to SA…So my son and his girlfriend prefer to return along with my daughter if possible but without any communications and ability to change the flight(loose all your money) it is a bit stressful last couple of days…

What if a lock down happens there or tightens lock down here in Europe .. problem is, i can’t anticipate because it’s almost 2 weeks from today so the airlines have still the time by law…

      @JLITHPAW
i feel more sorry for you..missing birth of your children…pffff Keep safe and strong

If i did what i wanted i booked 2 new tickets with KLM or other “big airlines” with direct flight to Frankfurt/Amsterdam/Paris with a cancellation insurance in case the former flight are still a go and/or mytrip rescheduled on other flights without charge ofcourse…

      …to be continued..

Thank you Frank, it is very much appreciated. My wife and I are in self-imposed lockdown as she is pregnant with our first child and we’re coping with it very well so far. My best friend however, his wife is 2 days overdue with their first child so they are beginning to get quite anxious.
@FlemishLegion & Ides, I hope that everything works out for you and your families. I can only imagine how tough it is to be apart from your loved ones, if you want to chat or vent rage at airlines/borders just drop me a message on discord!

@the rest of you, hope you and your families are all safe!

Yeah mates stay save! Here in Wuppertal it´s “ok”, yet.

My girlfriend and I are staying inside for a week now, except for getting food taking the doggo for a walk. (Actually it is quite nice because the dog is really anxious when it comes to other people and at the moment there aren´t a lot of people outside)

On monday I have to work again but it´s ok. We´re a small business and our boss told us to call sick for a week “in teams” alternately because there isn´t much to do.

I´m a bit worried about my girlfrend because since January she has to take a drug that “reforms” her immune system and makes her susceptible for illnesses for a few months.

Also we fear our planned wedding in summer won´t happen because of the virus but yeah…besides that I think we´re good for now.

I hope everything works out for you guys and your families!

I cant even remember when we went into lockdown, I know my wife and I self-imposed it very early on because she is almost 4 months pregnant. There are times when I think it would be nice to take her our for food and drinks but then I rememember whats going on.

As an introvert even I am finding this tough going at times.

How is everyone keeping themselves occupied besides computer games?

Oof, that must be difficult times for both of you.

We try to be occupied by doing stuff that we normally put off for as long as possible like we painted our hall, painted our cupboard…stuff like this.
Luckily I also got an e-drum here to keep me busy and started painting miniatures again.
Since monday I have to go to work again , so atleast half the day I´m occupied now.

Best for you, your wife and your child, mate!

Self isolating is a nightmare, got two children one of 9 and one of 2. Going for walks and to play in fields can only help so much but children full of energy will become bored. The wife is a massive introvert and quite likes being at home however everyone’s anxiety is peaking. Hope everyone here stays well, stay safe!
