Hi, new member here, I see you’re playing RS2 also. I thought that game was dead? Last time I played it I overheard that developers abandoned the game, and it was basically dead in the water? What changed? New developers or? I see it’s now getting hotfixes, patches and new plans. That’s awesome!

Dont forget that the game supports full mod support !  So the modders are still making new maps.

And the fact that the devs will prob give us some updates thanks to the new playerboost vie Epic Games.

So the game is very far from dead 🙂

Many people say that games are dead just because they don’t have thousands of constant players, but all you need is 10-20 servers with constant players for a game to be alive.

Mod support means the community can appease their own desires.
Also the game goes on sale so people try it just for the bargain and end up liking it

I cam to the game very late, but I love it. I played the original RO many years ago, but hadn’t played shooters for a while except Day of Infamy, Insurgency and Sandstorm, but those are all very similar games, like RS2:V.

It’s a great community in the game in general and especially here, so I’m delighted it’s still busy.

For me, I got it free and then liked it so much I bought the DLC.
