[Paranoia]

I was a player who joined when there was nobody playing on the ‘Powerbits Gameteam RS2 #3’ server and deliberately started to pop the server on my own initiative. I prompted the players to vote for an obscure map and region and unique attacking army. (Cua Viet with Aussies) So we got started attacking, and as the game progressed, more people joined and started having an enjoyable experience. Good latency, good polite energy and vibes. Just the sort of thing you need after a 14 hour shift with a drink in hand.

Then enters your admin, “[PBS] Jeman8er”.

Jeman8er is a proficient player and repeatedly shot me down at ridiculous angles that show and demonstrate proficient skill enough to agitate, and at late in the game, repeatedly used admin powers to slay commanders on our team attempting to utilize support on a relatively under-popped 10v10. I will admit, this might be a bit tactless to call artillery this early. After about the 4th time shot down, and what I can imagine was the 3-4th time the previous commander was slain in command line, I decided to take up the mantle and enjoy the Aussie directional artillery. I got a single napalm out with 2 kills and was slain ritualistically every time I spawned before I could call anything else.

At no point was there a prompt, text, or any obvious indication besides admin persecution that commander support was not allowed. Despite ridiculous and routine persecution, out of unwise spite, I continued to call in hot fiery hellfire and got all of the support out before I was kicked. When I returned, and took up a marksman role, I was then banned despite only fanning the flames of the next dimwitted commander to take up my previous mantle.

I myself have run servers with needs for administration of the general public in gaming. I get that I’m an asshole and acted inappropriately out of spite. The illogical acts of spite and liberal use of powers to slay players who are trying to enjoy functionality of the game however, I feel, is inappropriate. I question the credibility of maintaining an admin who has VAC bans, regardless of RPG skills and ability to utilize admin commands and undermine adversaries under the guise of trying to populate a, then stagnant server.

Here are the logs in question… We say no commander support till half full as it often causes people to leave when its only 7v7 and arty keeps getting dropped. I asked countless times for you not to use support yet you chose to still do it several times. After being just kicked for doing so you then chose to come back and try to cause further problems on the server. This is not the first time either…. You have been banned previously for toxic/rude behaviour. After the initial kick there was no need for the return and comments.

The admin role kick was used when commanders used support. You were role kicked and kept taking the role to call in support so that is on you. The VC commander was not dropping arty so was left alone.

You had many chances and chose to ignore rules and cause issues. You have a 7 day ban and when you return after this I suggest you obey the server rules like the VC commander was and not try to purposefully cause trouble.

Hi Paranoia,

as Jeman8er mentioned above , we have the seeding rule of no fire support until its 15v15 since it could kill a seeded server. From the chatlogs I can see that he politely told you to not use fire support when the player count is this low. You ignored this and therefore got kicked from your role several times. Then you even wrote in the chat to the commander who took over the role to ignore the admins message in a very respectless manner.

 

I edited the ban length to 7 days timeout for ignoring our rules, ignoring and being respectless towards one of our RS2 admins. Also I’ll leave a mark on you to be watched in the future and I hope you will refrain from such behaviour in the future on our servers since this would lead to a permanent ban of your account.

@jeman8er is a very repectable admin in the PBS community, so pls follow the rules and we can all get allong fine!
