The info has not been officially confirmed by Tripwire, but there are rumours that the Australian Forces will have a brand new, playable counterpart.

 

We announced the Australian Forces are the next faction coming to Rising Storm 2 at our PAX panel!

However, we forgot to say there is also a new, playable faction which will fight against Australians: the Emus.

• Ability
• Commander Ability – Emu Run
• Weapons
• Beak
• Claws

We are currently in an alpha state with this content and are expecting to reach beta sometime in December with a chance for players to give us their feedback and launching later this year.

Beyond that, we announced we are committed to adding the following (all timing TBD and content subject to change):

• ARVE – Army of the Republic of Emus
• More Weapons
• More Maps (including hen-house maps!)
• Multiplayer Campaign: join your fellow emus in a bloody fight for survival!
