Hi,

Kris here (KriZ_Rul3Z in game, all the other “Kris” names had been taken :-P). I’ve been playing on your server for a long time now, so I feel an introduction is in order.

I’m from Belgium, just turned 28 and been gaming for a long time. The games I spent the most time on in my life: Enemy Territory, Red Orchestra 2 and the Total War series (though they are getting less and less fun).

BF4 is my first Battlefield game, and it took a while to get used to, but here we are. 😉 I like the MG4, but always interested in trying different guns.

Alright, that’s me. Now about the server:

– Let me first say that I’m very happy with the server, so thanks to the admins who donate for it. Even though I don’t agree with everything, I feel most of the time it’s a nice bunch of guys to play with. Playing on a different server never feels the same anymore… so good job on that.

– I’m not here to join. I was interested in that for a while, but shortly after started noticing some PBS members using bad language, even sometimes insulting me and other players for using a specific weapon. I know we’re all just people and sometimes rage is part of the game… but when you’re an admin, you should be able to control yourself.

This is a minority, and usually you’re all cool guys. But things like that turn me off more than a girl with a bulge in her pants.

– Map rotation: at first I thought I was unlucky to always get the same maps, but it’s happening waaaayyy too much to be a coincidence. There’s plenty of good maps, but every time I join it’s “Pearl Market”. Yes, it’s a great map… but 50% of the time? Really?

Day 1, join the server: Oh, Pearl market! Awesome!
Day 2, join the server: Mmm… alright, Pearl market…
Day 3, join the server and guess what: it’s Pearl market!

Give us some more variation! There’s lots of great maps to choose from.

– Kicked for PBS member: I feel this system is pretty fair, but it could use some improvements. I don’t know what’s possible technically, but here’s my suggestions:

1. When you get kicked, show a message “Kicked for member” because new players are wondering why they’re getting kicked and will probably never come back anymore.

2. Kick someone with a low score who perhaps just died. If I’m the top player in my team and killing enemies everywhere, I don’t want to get kicked. If I’m camping somewhere and scored 2 kills in the last 10 minutes, I’d understand it more. I think this is also how the autobalancer works (“you have a bad score and died so you get moved to the other team”).
