There is another alternative (similar to your macro), which I use to keep my client alive in TD2 or other online games and that is to use a keyboard or gamepad macro. On my G13 for example, I input forward and backward movements, with left and right, that polls every 5 seconds or so, this is on a loop, so I can be afk for a considerable time, grab a brew go for a smoke and maybe cook some chicken, come back and all is as it should be 🙂

well its not needed anymore now, now you can idle on the HLL without being kicked 🙂

Heh that’s well useful, tbh I kind of get a bit paranoid running macros in case I’m reported for some nonsense hack, as it looks slightly shady when your character is jerking about the screen….welcome news nonetheless.
That said, time to dive into HLL 😀
