Hey Guys,

since we have some time till our next war i was thinking we could try some different kind of match in the training, less serious.

Its just a rough idea, so feel free to get your own thoughts into it:

• We set up the Teammarkers on zero/minimum
• after an specified amount of teamkills (1-3?) the player get banned for 1hr / 90mins from the server (dont know if possible to set up)
• Last Team Standing wins

What you guys think? Might be fun to try. I always wanted to see how it works without Teammarkers 😀

Do you have other ideas? Tankwar, Commander hunting?

Nice Jan…..indeed we have plenty of challenges next training sessions. Your set up is hard and I have to admit in close combat or long distance shots I often have friend-foe moments resulting in being shot. (I have difficulties with different helmets and uniforms). Would be a hard but good set-up to do sometime. Thanx m8!

its supposed to be hard 😀 sometimes in stressfull situations i forget which team i am in and i just dont teamkill because of the nameplates. maybe it even would have a positive training effect when we are used to the uniforms?

I think Carentan would be ideal for that kind of set up.

@Frank: Can you set up Nameplate-Distance on server side?

Haha, yeah, I am blind as anything, and can’t distinguish between anything within a few metres.
I have my nameplates at 500m which is annoying because if I have an enemy between me and teammates, the nameplates are in the way, or look like its over the enemy, so i ignore them……

 

Would be good to try out though.

What about something like the enemy has to defend a set of 3 Tanks or 3 Garrisons and the other team has to destroy them without the use of arty or tanks.

Or possibly put a friendly tank somewhere in the map and you have to get Tank Crew into it and return it.

Possibly a 1 life session?

For a bit of fun. Maybe a bit of battleships with Arty. And squads grouped up in a certain areas.
