Hey guys, so I’ve decided to try out commander.
Because there’s no real tutorial other than a video overview, how has everyone managed to learn commander?
I’m struggling to find a way to learn without pissing a LOT of people off with badly timed/placed artillery/napalm and AA.

Besides the videos you find on Youtube, you can find some guides on Steam with some tips.

The thing you can only really learn by trial and error, you will always piss somebody off because you can’t really make 32 happy at the same time and people always blame the commander when things aren’t going very well.

When playing has a commander your team expects you to tell them what to do, so having a mic helps. As the VC commander having a radioman is a must, because the ambush asset can win or lose a match, you need to be active in the field and try to get on the point so you can ambush successfully. One of the main things really is to kill more of the enemy team then your own when you’re dropping arty and even that is a bit hard because some of your teammates have this bad habit of running right to the arty, even when the napalm already fell and they think running towards the flames is a good idea.
