  Hi all,
  
  I thought I would share my Grandads war stories in which he recorded for myself when he was still kicking around and I was still young. I found these perhaps a year ago in my attic and thought it would be a great thing to share for others to listen too, i’ve attached a photo of him much later in his life when he went back to the place he thought and visited the cemetery (many of which were his friends) and went up the mountain. This was the only time he ever went abroad again since his campaign in Italy.
  
  I hope someone finds enjoyment with my grandads story.
  
  His name was also Richard Booth (same as me) and was in the Lancashire regiment
