This year might be pretty uncertain for Creative Assembly & the Total War franchise but one thing we can all bet on delivering fresh, memorable Total War gameplay is the MODDING SCENE! From the new publicly released Fireforged Empires on Attila to the massive scale & detail of the Old World mod for Warhammer 3, there’s just so much to get into right now. And there is A LOT more to come. So today we’re going to look at the 5 biggest and most anticipated Total War mods of 2024 because this year could be huge.

 

With the Map Modding tool developed we’ve already seen huge potential for new detailed and beautiful campaign maps across Shogun 2, Attila and Warhammer 3 and I think with The Carlist Wars (FOTS), Old World Overhaul (Shogun 2), Medieval Kingdoms 1212AD (Attila), Dawnless Days (Attila) & Caesar In Britannia (TOB) we may see more than we could ever have imagined!
