Since the update is around the corner here’s my way how to get your “private” DZ instance. I don’t think I will ever set foot in the DZ again once underground is out. I am too old to mess with kinderkids rolling around like retards and simply shooting everything that moves.

You need two people. I do it with one GS <160 and one 201+.

201+ guy sits in a safe room in the DZ.

<160 guy is someplace else on the map but NOT in the DZ.

<160 guy joins other guy’s group and will now be teleported into the nearest Checkpoint. Halfway during transfer the server notices the brackets don’t match but still places the toon in the checkpoint. Go to your group window and move the <160 guy into the 201+ bracket.

Enter DZ, leave DZ. Log out, get on your main toon and rejoin group. Enjoy.

• The DZ will not instantly be empty. If there are already players in it you will have to wait for it to “run dry”.
• Preferably you do this on peak times. The higher the “server number” when you join, the more likely you are to succeed.
• Best way to succeed is having the 201+ player sit in the safe room for a while in hope to fill up your current server.
• Even better if you get the message “Server full. Transferring group to new server.” once you join the group.
• It seems to help if the joining player is on a as bad as possible internet connection.
• Occasionally you will still have other players enter “your” DZ. That usually happens when the number of servers goes higher than your “server number” when you created your game. I hope this makes sense….
• If you happen to be lucky enough to get this to work, DON’T log out ever again. At least the instance owner shouldn’t. 😛

Success is not guaranteed, but this worked out for me most of the time. I was able to play on our very own instance with another cool guy (greetings to The Hague, NL) ALL weekend pretty much nonstop until my Laptop with my alt account crashed this morning.
