Maybe you can vote.. do you like the fact that you are switched sides at end of round or should you stick to the team you have selected?

I like switching sides but I extremely dislike that the squads are broken up and you potentially lose your selected role

If its a good map… Better stick to the side you ve choosen… Sometimes its gets better at the end but you still lose. Then you have a second change. Also for recognozing the enemy. You can always choose the other side the next time..

Firstly I would like to thank Frank, because I just asked some week ago – ” Why is no switching sides on your server ?” And he started to implement it on the server it didnt work at first, but then he made it work. So thank you for that.

As for my vote : YES  I do like switching sides. It´s fair. I think we all agree than some maps are better for VC or US and then if you play as this side and you dont switch teams its easy victory but also easy loss for enemy team. Thats why all the other servers are like this 2 rounds and you swap after the first one than it counts who had more points – and mostly its side that got further as attack. Then there is this fact that ALL the other servers are set like this – 2 rounds and swaping sides after first. And the PBS server was unique in this. But it still IS . It has three rounds and now it occurs more often the third round. For me actually honestly the normal model on all other servers is most FAIR but I understand we want to be unique and have something to offer that other servrs dont which is still there like the custom maps and third round.

Also I was thinking its still unfair because of third round – because lets say map is easier for vc. you win first round as VC and then sides switch and enemy is VC two times and they will win both rounds and win the match. on one side its a bit unfair, but I thought what to do with it ? Make it four rounds and switch sides all the time ? No that would be too long . Make it only two rounds like on the other servers ? Well.. thats really fair, but then we would be like all the other servers.. But than I actually found the nice logic in having three rounds and it is fair. So if you manage to defend objectives as VC . And enemy wants to win this match and proove he is better. He needs to defend it TWO times. If you start as US and you are attacking and then sides switch. enemy needs to do it also, But two times ! So I even like it the way it is now. And sometimes even the map is easier for vc or us you dont play third round because you just manage to win as both sides because your team is better and the map has just two rounds . so . I really do like it i vote for having the switching sides in. But on the other hand. The really MAIN aspect for me is to have a FAIR game. And we have a voting here which is pretty fair so if people want and will vote for NOT having switching sides than i will deal with it its fair and you chose it 🙂

I like it when the server has the setting for switching teams. If you’re curbstomping, you’re going to continue curbstomping because the different sides have (obviously) different objectives, with one attacking side and one defending (except on… supremacy? The game setting with capping points).

Switching teams for the current players means that you still have a chance of being on a winning side, which I find isn’t usually the case if you keep the teams on the same side.

 

It helps spice things up too for me at least, it can get a bit tedious if you’re going to repeat doing what you just did last round after all.

All very good arguments, personally i did not mind that we stayed on one side.

But ues its more fair and gives a change of pace..

I also dont like the fact you must remake your squad on teamswitch, but it seemed to work more or less..

Lets leave it for now and evaluate bit later

Switching Sides , it seems fair you get to play the other side as well.
