Hey guys!

Couple of days ago i got a new GPU, Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 1070.

Works great on BF4 , get around 140 fps all on ultra.

But when playing GTA V or Fallout 4 i get drops to around 50, hell in fallout even 40.

Also when i start up fallout 4 it doesnt detect my hardware and automatically puts it on low settings, so i have too change it every time -.- and in the Gigabyte Xtreme software it also doenst detect it. The card does show up in Speccy and in the Device Manager saying it works fine.

I’ve done a clean install of the drivers, removed them in safe mode blablabla….

These are my specs, WTF is wrong im getting annoyed here. do i need to upgrade my cpu? its running stable at 4.2.

All help and suggestions are welcome!

It sounds to me more a issue in fallout ,then your PC…

Maybe some drivers issue…try to rollback to a driver or use a good registry cleaner…

How does your pc do on a benchmark?

i use guru3Dfor driver deleting. it automatically boots your pc into safe mode and also deletes evrything in regedit

I’m pretty sure your 1070 isnt bottlenecked by your 3570K. Maybe there’s another bottleneck.

Whenever im trying to find the bottleneck im using MSI Afterburner.

Install it from MSIs website and follow these instructions:

1. Open the program.
2. Click the gear to open the settings menu.
3. Go to the monitoring tab.
4. Select the following in the graph list: Power, GPU temprature, GPU Usage, FB usage, Core clock, Memory Clock, Framerate, All CPU tempratures and all cpu usages, CPU usage and ram usage.
5. Minimize Afterburner but make sure its running.
6. Play the game until the problem appears then play for another 20 seconds
7. Open Afterburner and check the graphs to see if any usage hits 100% etc.

Also, if your pagefile isnt located on an ssd and you run out of RAM that could cause hickups. If that is the case (if RAM usage goes to 100), change your pagefile location to your SSD.
