  Good evening,
  
  I just got banned for 24h on the powerbits server on Hell Let Loose, my nickname is Tynendir. This is not appeal just a clarification on what happened.
  
  The game started and me and my mates went to get a tank on spawn. We quickly got on a race with a PBS team to see who will get in the tank first. I engaged into what I thought was friendly banter and proceeded to teamkill the guy in front of me as a joke (it would not have had any impact in game as we were still in preparations phase of the game). The guy was not happy (understandable) and I apologized and proposed to give their team the tank. They refused.
  
  Later in the game my teammate got killed in front of me by the same team, this time during the game and with a clear impact on the game. It was again a tank chase but for a tank that we asked our Commander to give and that he agreed to give to us.
  
  I teamkilled him in retaliation and in self defense (he started aiming at me). I told them in voice chat that I had already apologized and that my behavior earlier was meant as a joke which cleary they missed (again understandable not everyone has the same humor). I asked them very politely to put the matter to rest. Their teamleader simply answered “Shut the fuck up”. I didn’t answer andÂ I got banned 2 minutes later (clearly not an automatic ban).
  
  Now I understand that I acted as a dick early game and I don’t mind getting punished for it. Fair is fair. But the ban was clearly not aimed at this early behavior but at the second teamkilling which was done in self defense. Now it feels like retaliation to me.

  Actually the first TK was the trigger, I just reacted to it about 20 minutes later. The second TK was a “reassurance” for me that the punishment I had given was right.
  
  If someone TKs you, please report it to us on discord and we will take action.
