I realy dont get you get the point about custom maps:

Custom maps are made by the community and they make allot of them
New maps give more content to the whole game and more variation!
There are in total 80% custom maps made and 20% vanilla and some of the vanilla maps you play are custom maps being rewarded!
Our custom map server is topranked in the world, so i realy dont know where you get your ideas from?
Without the custom maps Rs2 would have died, its the community that is keeping this game alive!
Many customs are better then the vanilla ones!
