      Good evening people,

       

      Been playing on the server for a few months now with my own group of friends, where we often enjoy actual communication which is quite a rarity in gaming now-a-days. With a few of my friends applying I thought I might as well give it ago and apply to join your merry band.

       

      My real name is Joe, 26 years old, I’m from Cornwall, England and I’m a Military Logistician. My main reason for joining is to meet like minded people who want some Mil-Sim action while still having fun.

       

      In game I tend to lean towards being a L.O.A.C.H. or a Transport Pilot if at all possible and on the ground I’m pretty comfortable filling any role that the team needs, though my favorite is scout.

      I won’t presume my gaming history is very interesting to you but I’ll write it here for anyone who would like a read it. I’ve been gaming for about 20 years starting with the Saga Mega drive, PS1 (Future Cop: LAPD of course), PS2 after which I swapped to Xbox and found online gaming with Halo 1 and 2. This was quickly followed by the 360 where I met a group of gamers called XtraLife on Gears of War. We then hit GameBattles pretty hard and fluked our way to first place in a couple of tournaments, won some money and was mentioned on 360Zine when they offered a bit of sponsorship (Server and Forum hosting paid for!). Long story short though, some good times and bad times later we called it a day as we all had to start getting real jobs to fund our gaming habits. After that I went pretty chill with gaming, until I bought a PC and got pretty much addicted to WoW for a few years and also really started to enjoy strategy games on the side. Unfortunately during those years I had some seriously bad times with education, getting jobs, friends moving away and putting on a lot weight and I kinda had an lightening bolt moment and I just went to the gym for 2-3 hours a day for a year, during which I quit my job and joined the military. Even with all that change though still play as much as I can because its how I really relax.

      You can blame Will (Sleezek) for putting you through that but in all seriousness thanks for taking the time to read it!
