Did you try running the network diagnosis tool in Windows?

Are you sure your router is actually connected to the internet?

I ran the windows network diagnostics and it says the remote device or resource won’t accept the connection.

Ah, for hard reset you mean hard shut down maybe.
Right click on “this pc” > “management” (or something like that) and remove wireless card driver from there. Then reboot and try again

I just googled the error message and found out that I had to go to internet settings and disable use proxy server. The proxy server was blocking my internet. Now my laptop is working back to normal again.

couple things to try:
- deactivate your wifi connection and restart it like Kove mentioned or simply by using the wireless menu on the icon bar right side.
- open up your prompt command and type in ipconfig /release once thats done type in ipconfig /renew
- simply connect your laptop to your router using the ethernet port and repeat the same as above should you not get a new IP from your router via wireless.
If this doesnt help pour holy water over it and call an old priest and a young one 🙂
j/k, hope that sorts it out.
woops didnt see the resolve message… welp

I fixed my wifi problem by disabling the use proxy server option. The proxy server was blocking my internet connection.
