  I couldn’t be bothered checking out all the different weapons in BF4. Was too damn many. I can’t remember which ones I used, but I was all good as long as I unlocked the 3x scope for whichever weapon I used, whereas I only use max 2x zoom in BF1 for some reason. 1x for Hellriegel & C93 pistol. 2x for infantry rifles with iron sights. So satisfying making head shots with iron sights.

  For me the weapons look alike a bit.
  
  Though i can believe there are not allot of choices in www1..

  @Fester, but why? Gotta catch them all! That seems to be the common mentality of most people that play games with skins. People actually bother systematically unlocking all the possible dog tags available to the public too. I like the weapons I like, I’m not going to arse around trying to get 100 kills just so I can unlock a dog tag for it that I’m never going to display. I have my FNB dog tag & I have the “A Beginning” dog tag on, but will probably change that to the one that can be unlocked with the newer easter egg hunt – well, if I can actually be arsed to do it. A Beginning one took for ever & day or two to unlock.

    Why do I not bother with gun skins?Â Becuase I don’t live long enough to look at it ha ha.Â Tanks, plane and vehicle skins I can understand why people collect them, but not gun skins…
    
    I also don’t chase dog tags either. Maybe later in the game I wil have a look so see what I can get, but for me, the game does not need them at all. However, I understand that dogtags and the like are part of Battlefield – just not my Battlefield.

  The dog tags in BF4 were a lot more fun. Random scribble drawings & memes, etc. The dog tags in BF1 are somewhat uninspired & are just boring to look at for the most part. The weapon skins? I like the golden skin I have on my C93 pistol. Looks nice. I don’t live for very long in BF games either, but that’s mostly down to my play style. I like to go full on Rambo & run around on my own spraying bullets at anything that gets in my way with the Hell Riegel. I also like spamming anti-tank grenades everywhere. I’m pretty good at killing tanks, but no so good when it comes to face offs with other players as my reaction time is about as fast as a turtle who’s popped a bunch of sleeping pills.
