Thank you to everyone who has been playing Update 20 since its release last week, and to those of you who have continued sharing feedback on Juno Beach, the Canadian Forces, and the armor rework.
Today we’re releasing our first Hotfix for Update 20, addressing a number of issues reported by the community, including the DirectX 12 crash affecting certain AMD graphics card users.
This hotfix includes:
To address the DX12 crashes, we have temporarily reverted the game’s previous frontend version from Update 19 as part of this Hotfix. This change allows us to resolve the crashing issue while we continue work on the full frontend implementation introduced in Update 20. Once the underlying issue has been fully resolved, we intend to restore the Update 20 frontend in a future update.
Fixes for a number of visual and environmental issues on Juno Beach, including floating objects, terrain seams, and water rendering issues.
Fixes for several front-end and DLC-related issues, including character previews not updating correctly and the Tanker Suit not appearing for the Artillery unit.
Improvements to the Newsfeed following it’s introduction in Update 20.
Fixes for Canadian Forces content, including the Canadian Transport Truck wreckage behaviour.
We’re continuing to investigate community reports and are already working on a second Hotfix.
Please keep sharing your feedback through Discord, Reddit, Steam, and our Support Team channels, as your reports continue to help us identify and resolve issues as quickly as possible. Thank you for your continued support and we’ll keep you updated as work progresses.
