      In preperation for the meeting , some curiousity and making a few non BF1 PBS peeps happy, a Bf4 server has spawned again.  Its not to replace our maingame bf1 but a addition to the team and getting some PBS peeps back who still play it.  I like to think PBS can be more then a 2 game clan  and this is a enrichment for us.

      PBS has enough expertise to have this server in its known mixed mode.  But for first official mode will be best done. Procon has been configured, mixed mode and starup mode is ready again, although i have to edit more in mixed mode.

      This is a 60Hz server , but clearly 60hz in BF4 is not ideal as it does have issues, so temporary i removed all the maps with water = biggest cause of lag on 60Hz. Maybe a downgrade is possible to 30hz. => edit; downgraded to 30hz

      In therms of membership, i think the server will be able to get new members in or old non bf1 players back.  Its a test in time.

      If we decide to do this, the test period can not be too short. Like in the past, the server needs time to gain recurring members!

      the server is running already for a week and is at  top 75% , lets see for more

      It was a while ago since our BF4 server ended. It was getting some attention, often full etc which is good!
      But one “problem” I noticed is that there were huge drop outs between matches and the balancing might not have been optimal.

      I have some ideas for how to balance the teams but I do not know how much you can affect the game balance in a server.

      Do we have any plans to revive the BF4-server?

      For a bf4 server we need at least 20 members that pay for it..

      Most are playing bf1 i am afraid
