  Hello guys,
  
  I love to play on your servers. I have been playing RS2 for a long time now. But there is something thats bugging me and I would like to hear your opinions.
  
  I see more and more players constantly spam the “need ammo” prompt so that they are visible on the HUD. Most are very good palyers that run around behind enemy lines and they do this to not get teamkilled. I think this borders on abusing game mechanics.
  
  Why?
  1. the button isn’t intented for this.
  2. limited visibilty and TK mechanics are a core part of the game.
  3. running around behind enemy lines just brings a higher risk of getting TKd.
  
  I like that RS2 has a sense of a “battle direction”, meaning you don’t have to constantly fear getting shot from a random direction. The game tries to make it difficult to break this frontline. This is what makes me like this game so much more than say Battlefield. Additionaly, I like to play with the HUD on (for compass) and if more and more people spam the “need ammo” it starts to clutter the HUD.
  
  I know getting TKd can be frustrating, but I think this behaviour should not be encouraged. TK is part of the game. And seeing high level player do this, “newer” ones start to copy it.
  
  Another rare mechanic abuse I encounter is when North TLs encourage their whole team to suicide in order to get a big ambush. I even saw some TLs saying everyone should “F3 suicide”. I think this is pretty scummy as well, but fortunately quite rare.
  
  And sorry if this topic was already discussed, I just can’t navigate these game forums lol.

  Tbh I am totally fine with it and use it myself if I am behind enemy lines. Nothing is more infuriating than spending 10mins getting into a good position then to be TKed by someone who doesn’t communicate when you’ve told them where you are. Yes TKs are part of the game and it does happen which on the odd occasion is fine. But I use it because it is all the time. Ifs players would read chat/ listen to coms more then it wouldn’t be an issue.
  
  For the ambush part, when I play I tell people to hold spawns ~30s leading up to ambush but never to actively suicide. I agree there it is not a good move. Not something to be policed as its not breaking rules/game mechanics but shouldn’t be encouraged.
