This is one of those iconic battles, but on this day i dont know of any movie has been produced about it. Anyone know one perhaps? Could be a good idea for tom hanks to produce one. Like he did with greyhound. There was one called the enemy below for example but after that nothing really like greyhound(by the way great movie but could have more potential, it was too short)

Small fact. You’ll (probably) know this already but anyway… It were the Germans who had first the Paratroopers in the army and officially used in an operation. Some think it was the US. Cheers. Like the video says. didn’t watch it before replying on it.

For me the Blitzkrieg itself, the new way of war, combined tactics with real time communications without the traditional delays. Also the occupation of the western countries, the efficiency they had until Hitler made the biggest mistake to go for the east to early. The most popular object for me as far as i can remember starting to have fascination for the WW2 was the MP40 SMG. I think i had one as a toy weapon back on the 80’s or so.

Forgot this one, once i see it a year ago and i was pleased with this one. Nicely made. there are also a few good german series about their POV in WW2. There is even a short movie about this subject. Don’t know wich one anymore

Cant agree on the part not fighting for glory. they both were eager to have success in the war. Just 2 different personalities, one i outgoing the other kept it more for himself and was stubborn.
