I was trying to play on the PBS GT 1 HLL server and I was banned upon joining for my steam username. I have joined and played on this server many times with no issues. My username is George Floyd Gaming. I would like to appeal this ban.

Hey, and thanks for reaching out.

On our servers we strive to provide a friendly community for everyone, regardless on their views on various topics. The death of George Floyd is still a sensitive topic for a lot of people, and having his name as part of your username could be considered political and/or offensive, which is why you got a ban.

Since I cannot see anything else in your logs that goes against our rules, I’d happily remove the ban for you, as soon as you change your name to something that isn’t political and/or offensive in any way.

As to why it took this long for an admin to spot you, I don’t know. But let me know when you’ve changed your name, and I’ll remove the ban 🙂
