      Nodes are critical to give the Commander options as to what to spawn. The ‘trick’ of an Engineer taking a Supply Truck, driving to the edge of allied territory, dropping the supplies just over the line and then coming back into allied territory to build the nodes works well. It does surprise me a little when Commanders refuse the offer, though!
      Another idea I had would work as follows:
      It requires two players and as it is focussed solely on building nodes. I suggest a locked squad of two who build the nodes and are then free to join other squads or open the squad up to other players.

      1. Form locked squad, with one player in the Supply role.
      2. Supply player drops supply then redeploys as Engineer.
      3. Engineer builds Manpower node, then redploy as Supply.
      4. Rinse and repeat only build Ammunition.
      5. Rinse and repeat only build Fuel.
      6. Can build Repair Station if motivated to do so but near an HQ is not the best place.
      7. Join another squad or open up to others and join the fight.

      I believe that doing this would give the Commander three nodes within about eight minutes of game start.

      Does this work? Do people do it already? Does it contravene any idea about ‘fairness’ re game play? Thoughts?

      I’ve done it in the past, prefer a supply truck though.
