For me the Blitzkrieg itself, the new way of war, combined tactics with real time communications without the traditional delays. Also the occupation of the western countries, the efficiency they had until Hitler made the biggest mistake to go for the east to early. The most popular object for me as far as i can remember starting to have fascination for the WW2 was the MP40 SMG. I think i had one as a toy weapon back on the 80’s or so.
