Hello PBS team,

Today whilst playing, I was banned, after inquiring into why I was killed in game by an admin, Rusty.

After being banned, I reached out to Rusty on discord, asking why I was banned, and for how long. Rusty informed me that it was a permanent ban for TK.

I do not believe either me, or my friend who was also banned actually killed any friendly players, I could be wrong though.

Rusty mentioned in chat that they believed we were about to RPG a friendly helicopter. Now I’m all for preventative measures, but this confused me slightly.

I’m hoping to get some more info here on the ban, and if I am wrong I will happily apologise. I have never been banned before, and enjoy playing on the server.

I do not blame Rusty for banning us permanently if he believed we were intentionally trolling. However, I’d humbly ask that you reconsider, since that was not our intention.

I’d also like to say that this is not me saying that Rusty is in the wrong, I believe there has been a misunderstanding. And I am not saying we are completely innocent here either.

As for my friend, I’d also love if you could indicate exactly why he was permanently banned, because since he is not authorised to appeal, this means he can never play the server again, which again I feel is unwarranted, but I understand if you can’t discuss his matter with me.

Hey Juan, thanks for reaching out. Your mate, HaryS was observed for the entire match, he did team kill players at the HQ which I ignored.

Later, while the most of your team was trying to fix the helicopter, he was in the guard house watching them though 3rd person view, with an RPG in hand. Once the helicopter was fixed, he peaked, and ADS the RPG (There is an animation for it in the game, so it is easy to tell). That is when I neutralized him, then you took out your RPG and did the same, so you too were neutralized.

Granted, what you did only looked suspicious because of the relation to what your mate did, so your ban will be lifted.

Thanks for your reply, and I appreciate you lifting the ban.

Whilst I can not exactly explain what my friend was doing and intending to do. I know that at that time, I was explaining to him how to shoot a helicopter down. Therefore you may have seen him aiming just below the rotors, as I was explaining to him that if you shoot it there, it will fall out of the sky.

I should note, we were not discussing shooting down our friendly helicopter, but with it sitting there in base, it was the easiest example for me to explain to him how it works.

I cant explain the team killing at HQ though, unless he thought they were an enemy or something, but I don’t really know.
