I don’t know about you but I was unaware that the Field Manual had changed so drastically. The manual has morphed into proper online reference (with links and everything!!)
It makes essential reading for anybody who wants to play the game (I would say properly, but goodness knows what that really means).

The Player Guide I first read dates from August 2021 and used to appear when clicking on the Field Manual option on the Hell Let Loose opening screen (along with ‘Enlist’etc). Clicking on that link now brings up the new, more up to date offering. Despite searching, I cannot find a link to it on the web!

I do, however, strongly recommend reading it, especially for the ‘rule illiterate’ like me.
