How to Get to Level 110 in They Shall Not Pass
PVP Live: Battlefield 1 added in ten more levels to the previous cap of 100 with their new DLC, They Shall Not Pass. However, they severely increased the amount of experience required to earn per level. We spoke with one of the first Battlefield 1 players to hit level 110, Oh_Nomoko, for insight. He shared his tips on leveling faster, how to win more, and the classes he believes play out the best within They Shall Not Pass. Oh Nomoko informs us that going from rank 100 to 110 was surprisingly quick, taking only about 2-3 days to accomplish. Granted,…
BF1 History: The trenches in colour of the French army
The trenches in COLOUR: Extraordinary colourised images bring to life the horrors facing French soldiers during the First World War The horrors of the First World War trenches has been brought to life in a stunning set of colour photographs. The images colourised by graphic artist Frédéric Duriez reveal the daily lives of beleaguered French soldiers. They can be seen sharing meals, marching through blitzed towns and carrying bodies across the battlefields. Some 1.3million French soldiers were killed in the war from 1914 to 1918, while 4.2million more were wounded. One in 20 people in France lost their lives,…
New progression unlockables in BF1
Battlefield 1’s first paid downloadable content pack is here for those with the game’s Premium Pass. They Shall Not Pass adds four new maps, the new game mode Frontlines, and a slew of new items, including the new Saint Chamond tank, Siege Howitzer, Char 2C behemoth, Trench Raider elite and more. In addition to these new items, the developers at DICE also beefed up some of the rewards for all Battlefield 1 players – even those who haven’t purchased the Premium Pass or the They Shall Not Pass DLC. Developers say even those without the new expansion can still earn…
Battlefield 1’s New Elite: The Trench Raider Guide and Exclusive Gameplay
Battlefield 1’s new French-themed DLC “They Shall Not Pass†includes a brand new elite pickup, the Trench Raider. The Trench Raider is a close quarters specialist. Wielding the brutal Raider Club, this elite can cut through the enemy team like butter. There's no drawn-out melee animation, so this new elite is a serious threat. In addition to his massive melee weapon, the trench raider also has access to an arsenal of fragmentation grenades and smoke grenades. Interestingly, the Trench Raider also has the ability to do more than just attack enemies. He can heal himself and his team with…

Battlefield 1: Is Fort de Vaux the next Locker or Metro?
Battlefield 1's upcoming French DLC "They Shall Not Pass" includes an excellent map - Fort de Vaux. Since a large amount of fighting on the map takes place underground, many Battlefield 1 players on the Community Test Environment are comparing the map to old favorite / hated maps Locker and Metro. Looks aside, how does Fort de Vaux compare to Locker and Metro in terms of gameplay? From my point of view, the maps play completely differently, for a variety of reasons. Fort de Vaux is one of four maps included in the They Shall Not Pass expansion pack…
Here’s a first look at the new Battlefield 1 map “Fort De Vauxâ€
One of the new maps in Battlefield 1, coming with the They Shall not pass expansion, is Fort De Vaux, and if you were a fan of Operation Metro or Operation Locker, you’re going to love this one. The map is set at a large fort with numerous hallways and passes, and resembles Operation Locker a lot — the new map certainly has the “meatgrinder†aspect that many fans flocked to in Locker and Metro. Check out a walkthrough of the map from YouTuber Matimi0 above. Source: BFcentral, DICE
Battlefield 1: New MG14/17 Weapon Confirmed for Russian DLC?
The developers behind Battlefield 1 just released some new details on the upcoming Russian downloadable content (DLC) “In the Name of the Tsar.†We now know the expansion takes us to the Brusilov offensive, the Operation Albion, and the Lupkow Pass. But did the new information also confirm a new machine gun weapon in the upcoming Russian DLC? But what about new weapons in the expansion? I pointed out the cavalry lance in a previous video, but I overlooked another weapon that could be a welcome addition to Battlefield 1. The support soldier here appears to be wielding a German…

So we’ve finally got trailer and a release date for Battlefield 1’s first expansion pack – The French-themed “They Shall Not Pass†will hit consoles and PC for those with Premium subscriptions on March 14th. Those without premium can buy the DLC separately on March 28th. I had a lot of requests for a "what did you miss" episode, so here's an analysis and breakdown of the new trailer for "They Shall Not Pass." In the opening shot we get closer look at the new Trench Raider elite included in the DLC, and it’s safe to say the shot takes…
