BF1:Maori Soldiers Added in Turning Tides DLC
DICE is adding Maori soldiers to Battlefield 1 in the form of the "British" Faction's scout class. The Maori are the native peoples of New Zealand and contributed thousands of soldiers to fight in World War I. Hundreds of them made the ultimate sacrifice. As fighters, the Maori were known for their tenacity and bravery in battle. DICE is paying tribute to the Maori by apparently modeling the scout character after them in the upcoming Battlefield 1 Turning Tides expansion / DLC. What are your thoughts? Tell me in the comments. Why Are the “ANZACS” in Battlefield 1’s New Turning Tides Maps “British Forces?”
Footage here is from the Battlefield 1 Community Test Environment (CTE) and is an unfinished work in progress. Are the ANZACs on the new Battlefield 1 maps Cape Helles and Achi Baba actually ANZACs? Technically they're classified as "British Forces," but why is this?
