New Russian Map! Brusilov Keep on Battlefield 1 CTE + New Weapons Confirmed

Brusilov Keep is now on Battlefield 1's Community Test Environment (CTE).   Brusilov Keep is the second map we've seen from the Russian-themed expansion / dlc "In the Name of the Tsar." Here's a quick look at what is available in the Brusilov Keep build, as well as details on new weapons. Among them are the Maxim SMG, the Liu Rifle, and the Vetterli bolt-action. These were leaked in datamines, and have now been confirmed. Will do a full run down on the weapons when I can, in the meantime, enjoy this gameplay on Brusilov Keep, and some of the…

RISING STORM 2: VIETNAM REVIEW: AS BRUTAL AND UNFORGIVING AS THE REAL THING

I’m a fan of the Red Orchestra series, as well as its competitors such as ARMA and Operation Flashpoint. These games aim to offer a more realistic and grounded approach to the large open battlefield genre of multiplayer FPS games. While they’re not to everyone’s taste, they can provide a unique hardcore experience for those willing to persevere. Red Orchestra from Tripwire Interactive was one of the more popular PC shooters of old, and followed up with a very good sequel. It wasn’t as accurate or as simulation-like as the likes of ARMA, but it still designed itself around basic concepts which put it squarely within the same…

Lupkow Pass on Battlefield 1’s CTE This Weekend? In the Name of the Tsar DLC Maps Coming

DICE developers say they're looking to have Lupkow Pass from the upcoming In the Name of the Tsar DLC on the Battlefield 1 CTE by the weekend. No word on if that includes any of the new weapons from the Russian-themed expansion. I also show off some yet unseen gameplay with the new winter version of the armored train behemoth on Lupkow Pass, and mention the new dog tags for the Battlefield 1 CTE that are on the way. Lupkow Pass was the map we got to play at EA Play - since EA paid for my travel to the…
