I only play SL on US, but heed the words from Valk above. Use your SL position as a mobile spawn point. Get ure ass near a cap zone and get ure fecking head down ! Obviously mark arty points but chill and let your mates spawn up. You can still get your cap points but wait till the cap is half taken, generally by then its safe to rush in.

Its better to be a great spawn for 5 team mates than a dead cap-rusher who helps no-one.
