Greetings Sam! As a matter of fact it isn’t completely dead. You just have to change some settings to see the servers to play online. There are still over 10 co-op servers running almost all the time. Check out our fan site and others too: http://hd2rip.brainstorming.hu/ (english side still using flash…).

I’d love to play with you sometime, share memories :).

HLL is d*mn great, good to have games like that.
