I guess we would need assurance that the tradeoff is worth it, and I am not sure comitting a squad to the service of a tank works as well on defence as it would being used to break enemy lines and harass the back, if the tank is protected from enemy AT and repaired by the squad it effectively becomes a moving fortress meaning it can accomplish a lot more behind enemy lines than on point defence right? Just snowballing ideas.
