It brings me to some questions?

Wat kind of games exist for VR?

  • There’s quite a few games for VR now, but of course no where near as much as normal PC games. The ones that spring to mind would be Onward, Pavlov – typically it’s 6 vs 6 tactical maps. There’s nothing really at the moment which is like 50 vs 50 in VR. ‘War Dust’ is a bit like Battlefield in VR with large scale maps / 32 vs 32, but the graphics are very out of date and development  has ceased unfortunately.

Wat mode (coop, single player, large mp?)

  • It’s really a mixture. Mainly co-op and single player that dominates VR. I think as the tech improves, there’ll be a developer which will bring a large scale Battlefield type game to VR.

How much does a good VR headset cost ?

  • I got the Occulus Rift S from Facebook market place (an unwanted Christmas present). I bought it for £320 (which is probably around 400 Euro’s?) – Though you can spend thousands – typically most headsets cost from £250 – £500.

Wat are the minimum specs for VR?

  • Ahh I don’t know the answer to this. I have a 2080ti and seems to run a.ok, but I’m not that techy so I wouldn’t know.

There’s a lot more twitch / e sports now coming out for VR. Here’s a few of the links;

https://www.twitch.tv/onwardmasterleague – Onward is probably the best multiplayer VR game currently I would say.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34r1mDMLcgs – Ironwolf is like Silent Hunter – 4 player co-op.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x4ImOuzXnAc – Echovr is like a sports game (also has combat in it).

Again just a few ideas – I don’t think it’s anywhere close for ‘Clan material’ yet, but hopefully with more advancements / technology / drop in price, it’ll continue to grow steadily over the upcoming years!
