What is it with the editing feature on this forum CMS? Sometimes I see it for some replies & other times not? Sorry, kind of annoyed at the minute. Some creepy crawly bug somehow found its way under the glass of my monitor screen, I thought it was on top of the screen so I went to flick it off & it went splat. Now I have a thing the size of a few pixels over on the right hand side of my monitor I can’t get rid of. :shakefuckingshark:
Anyway, here’s another tip… this one concerns the red circle of spectacular firework display. If you find yourself in the red circle & there’s houses nearby, quickly run to the nearest one, go in, close the doors & stand away from the doors & windows & ride out the storm. For some reason the buildings are immune to the red zone, but the windows are not, so stay away from those. If you happen to already be in a building when the red zone hits & you know there’s an enemy or enemies in a nearby building & are feeling incredibly lucky (god mode on) you could make your way over to the enemies building as soon as the explosions start & use the noise to enter & storm the building while the enemies are distracted & can’t hear shit. You just have to pray you don’t get blown up while doing that, but it could potentially be worth the risk.
If you happen to be in a vehicle & the red zone hits, just drive on out of there as fast as you can. If you are driving & a red zones pops up on the path you are on, you should be able to safely drive through it if you put your foot down to the floor. We haven’t been blown up driving through a red zone yet, but I assume it can & does happen if you happen to be one of the sods with poor luck rating. Maybe next time you’ll put luck to 5+ on your (fallout ref) perk screen you bloody wally! 😉
The red zone also works as a nice way for masking noise you make with both movement & while shooting when the red zone is nearby as enemies will have a hard time pin pointing where the sound is coming from.
