Sadly I’m currently unemployed, and the Covid isn’t making that any easier.
Offline, I really enjoy photography, especially sports photography. Basically the entire process from shooting at the event, to sorting and retouch/slight adjustments in photoshop, to delivering the final product.
When I’m not behind the camera, I play football as a goalkeeper. I did bust my shoulder last game, and I’m out for the season. We’re currently in the top half of the league, close to being promoted to the best regional division, which would be huge, since it’d be a back-to-back promotion.
At home, I got my lovely, lazy and loud cat named Lulu. I rescued her 3 years ago from an abusing home, and she’s gone from being a scared and insecure cat, to trusting me 100%. And that transformation was absolutely amazing to witness.
I’ve invested far too much of my life into WOW, being a Raid-Leader in a top 10 guild worldwide. I lost all interest after Cataclysm and Pandaria.
As for pew-pew bang-bang games, I’ve played a ton of AA2.5, AA3 and BF:BC2.
In the Roleplaying genre I’ve played a lot of Bethesda games, but lost what little faith I had left with FO:76.
I really enjoy Single-player strategic/settlement builder/colony manager games like Rimworld (more than 2000 hours), and the recently acquired Frostpunk, which I’m sure I’ll get a lot of hours in soon.
My favorite games of all time, would most likely be where I felt I was doing the best and also enjoyed sinking a ton of hours into it, which would undoubtedly be WOW, Rimworld, Skyrim and Fallout 3.
Amazing idea for a thread, and I’ll look forward to more replies 🙂
