Hmm, pretty interesting. I was under the impression that the attachments more or less all the did the same thing except flash hider was same as the compensator but hid the muzzle flash as well, whereas the silencer was the same as both the compensator & the flash hider but also masked the sound. I figured each one was just a step up.

I’ve never really used the compensator as I often end up finding flash hiders everywhere & due to me thinking it was just the same as the compensator but with muzzle flash reduction I just ended up equipping one of those for the duration of the round unless I came across a silencer. Personally I prefer the silencer as I rarely shoot full auto except for the UMP; or micro uzi (if I have to suffer one of those things).
