PUBG Update Live @ 05:00 CEST.

Update is now live. Currently downloading it now.

Just figured I’d list some of the more important changes for those of you who can’t be arsed to read over the entire changelog. So here goes…

• new town located East/North East from Stalber called Kameshki (I think that’s the name). There’s also additional small buildings dotted around Stalber itself.
• low chance of foggy map/weather.
• 1 new world spawn weapon. The Mini-14. Small compact sniper 5.56 sniper rifle. Supposedly does less damage than the others. Shoots faster & bullets travel further with more accuracy.
• tommy gun is now a world spawn weapon, but doesn’t come with drum magazine.
• bunch of new keybindings for double tap leaning & can now specify a key bind per med/boost type.
• some optimization improvements.
• grenades can now be rolled or thrown (toggle with right mouse button).
• motorbike collision damage adjusted (I assume this means you are less likely to die instantly whenever the bike decides to randomly filp over & send you packing – at least I assume it’s something like that.

Right it’s now 4:34am. I’m starting to fall asleep in my chair, so, g’nite & have fun with the update at some point the morrow or in the near future.

Doubt the new maps will be ready for a while. I still think they won’t release a new one until they are ready to remove PUBG from early access state & release it officially. Right now they are more interested in testing things, fixing bugs, optimization & so on. EA = one giant experiment & we’re the mice running around doing the testing.
