& another yin. To shuffle or not to shuffle? While watching some of the Gamescom PUBG Invitational stream, I noticed that a lot of the players are constantly shuffling around, but the question is, do they really need to do that all the time? Personally I don’t think they do. I believe it was the guy that won the second round of tpp solo that spent a large portion of the round shuffling around inside of one of those little shack (fuck boy shack) things, but the question for me is, why did he bother constantly shuffling around as no one could take shots at him in there & all he’s doing is generating movement noise which will reduce your ability to listen out for gunshots in the distance, vehicles & players approaching on foot.
For me, it makes more sense to use it while inside of a building if you want to bait/distract an enemy or even a bunch of enemies if playing duo or squad while reducing your chances of being shot. I can also see the use of shuffling around while being behind limited cover while out in the open as it will make it harder for any enemies coming up from behind or flanks from being able to hit you.
Same while looting in the open, providing you are able to multi-task. Unfortunately I find it hard to move my character around while I’m trying to drag things around the inventory screen – I guess I don’t have enough cpu cores for multi-tasking. If like me you struggle to spam WASD randomly while looting with the inventory open, just crouch or go prone, grab a few important things like meds & ammo as quick as you can & then get out of there otherwise you might find yourself dead before you even had a chance to tab out of the inventory screen if you spend too long arsing around checking every single thing they had.
What would be nice is if we could assign some key bindings to auto grab all of some specific thing from the ground/enemy crate such as meds or ammo (for primary or secondary weapon), etc from the inventory without having to drag or right click it.
P.S: @Frank please could you make it so we can edit our posts as many times as we like? I find stack posting messy; even though it’s netting me points for a new reply.
