      If you have problems with the game crashing try the suggestion on the reddit post. it might be old but might be usefull

      I found a solution for me. Go to sound settings -> Sound Control Panel -> Playback -> right click on Default device for your audio and select Properties -> Advanced -> uncheck ” Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device “. It works for me surprisingly. No crash after it. Also delete the movies folder in HLL installation folder. Delete the whole Movies folder. Also make sure to run the game in Full screen windowed mode. And add -dx12 in launch option of steam for HLL. Hope it works for you as well.
